Models Failed, So Did I

Local Update...
Models Have Failed Significantly For Potential Ground Hog Day Storm...

This post will actually be short. Models have failed in my opinion, which lead me to fail all the viewers of this blog. I apologize for hyping this storm. I thought it wasn't hype, but it ended up being hype. The models were unusually consistent which I guess in and of itself should have been a sign, especially the way this year has been. I will no longer be posting potential storm systems until they are a day or two away. This fails my mission of being able to bring everyone long range, accurate forecasts, but it will have to be like this for now, until models become better. I cant just guess the weather...

Don't worry dude. Everybody misreads weather forecasts once in a while. For what its worth, you are far more accurate and consistant than any other weather personality i know, or don't know! :-)

What he said.

Don't be down on yourself; weather can be unpredictable to even the most expert of experts. I know you're meticulous about the way you interpret data. I honestly trust you more than I do any news media forecasts. Can't win 'em all.

You are being too tough on yourself. You can't always be right. Although I have to say with your forecast for us you have always been right on. You haven't missed once. We trust you more than our weather forecasters. If they predict a storm the girls want to know what you says because you are always right. Don't let this stop you from keeping people informed.
